Made a quick sculpt inside of Zbrush earlier, wanted to share it.
I didn’t spend long on it but the results of it aren’t too bad (just a few hours) Before, this would have taken me a far much more long time to produce these results. Practice is paying off!
Obviously there is no detail to the face, but I didn’t want to obsess over the face too much at this point. I wanted to see how quickly I could establish a decent looking sculpt of a character.
I started out with some simple Zspheres to block out the body before turning it into a dynamesh. I know some people prefer to work from dynamesh to start with, but i wanted to get a sense of proportions and positions before continuing further. I actually left out the feet and the hands originally, as those can be very time consuming. I used some of the default insert mesh brushes and redynameshed it to my model. I’m aware that the method is a little lazier, but it does save time and produces decent results.
I’ve been applying to jobs and trying to learn some tools outside of the Zbrush scope. I didn’t want to get out of practice on sculpting, so I wanted to share this quick result here.
